Description of the kerbernez site
Located in Plomelin (South Finistère, Brittany), the Kerbernez site is part of the AgrHys observatory. It is one of the representative sites of intensive agricultural system in Western Europe, combining animal and crop production. The Kerbernez granitic site covers an area of 1.3 km². It is used for dairy farming and mixed farming (rotation of maize, wheat, grassland). More information can be found on the observatory website.
