Acquired dataset collected for the Brillouin A-DTS experiment. Auverwatch, Port-Douvot.

Dataset description

We provide below the dataset published in Labbe et al. (JoH, 2026) corresponding to an A-DTS experiment carried out on the experimental site of Port-Douvot (Besançon, France), in an alluvial aquifer. The dataset includes:

  • Brillouin absolute frequency measurements collected between the 04/04/2023 and the 04/11/2023 in natural groundwater flow conditions along a 700m fiber optic cable using a Brillouin-based sensor (DITEST, Omnisens) according to the experimental setup described in figure 1,
  • groundwater temperatures (RBRsolo3 T) over the same period,
  • high definition images of an alluvial core sample collected between two piezometers,
  • an electrical resistivity tomography profile (Syscal R1+, Iris instrument) acquired during the A-DTS experiment.

The data was acquired in the frame of the AUVERWATCH observatory (AUVERgne WATer CHemistry), which is part of the French network of hydrogeological observatories H+ (http://hplus.ore.fr/en/).
