Towards spatio-temporal estimation of evapotranspiration using electrical resistivity tomography in forests (Larzac observatory).

Dataset description

We provide the dataset published in Loiseau et al. (HP, 2026), acquired at the experimental site of the Larzac Observatory. The dataset includes:

  • 35 time-lapse Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) datasets acquired on 13 different dates from April 2022 to September 2023,
  • Sap speed measurements acquired every 30 minutes from 2022 to 2023 using sap flow sensors installed on 6 black pins distributed along the ERT profile.

Continuous soil water content and temperature data measured in pits along the ERT profile are available on the website of the OREME Observatory, to which the study site belongs. Note also that a longer time series of sap flow measurements, spanning from 2021 to 2024, is available on the Larzac Observatory website.
